GMES North Africa Consortium and the European Space Agency (ESA) Hackathon
The GMES North Africa Consortium and the European Space Agency (ESA) are organizing a Hackathon on the valorization of Earth Observation through innovative technologies and solutions linked to Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing

The Hackathon is an Africa-wide competition. It aims to give students, researchers, IT developers and various thematic experts the opportunity to showcase their expertise and skills by proposing innovative, cost-effective and relevant solutions to our decision-makers, managers and diverse communities, to support decision-making in food security and sustainable natural resource management.
Participants will have the opportunity to access and take advantage of the highly innovative DUNIA IT platform just launched (http://dunia.esa.int), developed by ESA, and make their valuable contributions to addressing the critical need for information supporting sustainable water and natural resource management in Africa.
The Hackathon will take place in hybrid mode, and we are asking for your support in disseminating this information to your networks and to your students, researchers, start-ups, etc.
