Next in the Copernicus Training Series for Africans: Harnessing Python

Since November, the GMES & Africa program and the Working Group Africa (WGA) have been offering a self-paced training program on Copernicus, featuring multilingual courses and thematic webinars. In February, a course on Python and geospatial data will be available.

In February, the two partners are offering a course on Python ~About 5 days of self-paced learning with videos and training materials in 3 languages (English, French and Portuguese). This course has been designed to enable you to work in Python with raster geospatial data. In addition, you will have access to webinars on the use of Copernicus data in marine activities and mangroves.

The training programme will then continue until May, as follows

• March 2025, SAR, delivered in English by Mineral Resources - National Laboratory of Energy and Geology of Portugal
• April 2025, Artificial Intelligence delivered in English by Urban Monitoring of the University of Turku
• May 2025, Web Mapping delivered in English by Health (Mosquitoes abundance - National Observatory of Athens – BEYOND

En février, Ils vous proposent de suivre un cours sur Python ~Environ 5 jours de cours à son rythme avec des vidéos et du matériel de formation en 3 langues (anglais, français et portugais). Ce cours a été conçu pour vous permettre de travailler en Python avec des données géospatiales matricielles. En outre, vous aurez accès à des webinaires sur l'utilisation des données Copernicus dans les activités marines et les mangroves.
