GMES and Africa: 4 minutes to discover what are the G&A marine and coastal services in Western Africa

The UoG together with seven partners, is implementing the Marine and Coastal Areas Management in western Africa project under the GMES and Africa programme. This video is presenting in few slides the main achievements 

The Action seeks to provide decision-makers with information and tools that would support effective marine and coastal resources management in western Africa. This is being achieved through delivering EO services that will enhance the formulation of marine, fisheries and environmental policies to support decision-making at the national and regional level.

The results are displayed by pillars, Data access Earth Observation Products and Services, Capacity Building, Communication, Awareness Raising and Knowledge Management, Cross-fertilization, and Engaging the Private Sector.
